Sky Sports

Sky Sports

Sky Sports is a group of sports television channels operated by the satellite pay-TV company Sky plc. Sky Sports is the dominant subscription television sports brand in the United Kingdom and Ireland. It has played a major role in the increased commercialisation of British sport since 1991, sometimes playing a large role in inducing organisational changes in the sports it broadcasts, most notably when it encouraged the Premier League to break away from The Football League in 1992.

Sky Sports 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 are available as a premium package on top of the basic Sky package. These channels are also available as premium on nearly every satellite, cable and IPTV broadcasting system in the UK and Ireland. Unlike the other channels, Sky Sports News HQ is provided as part of basic packages. Sky Sports is perhaps best known for its Premier League football coverage and Formula 1.

The 2015 Copa América is the 44th edition of the Copa America, the premier international tournament CONMEBOL. The tournament was to be held in Brazil (which had hosted more since 1989). However, Brazil is also hosting the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup, the 2014 FIFA World Cup and the Summer Olympics in 2016, which led to reconsider the decision of CONMEBOL.
The President of CONMEBOL, Nicolas Leoz proposed the realization of the continental tournament in Mexico (though it belongs to another confederation CONCACAF) 2. Bolivia also expressed interest in taking the place of Brazil in organizing the Coupe3.
The governments of Brazil and Chile discussed the possibility of exchanging the tournament in 2015 and 20194. In March 2012, Chile was chosen and will host the Copa America in 2015, while Brazil will organize the 2019.

The 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup is the seventh FIFA Women's World Cup, the quadrennial international women's football world championship tournament. In March 2011, Canada won the right to host the event, the first time the country will host the tournament and the third time it has been in North America. The tournament began on 6 June 2015 and will finish on 5 July.

The 2015 tournament saw the World Cup expanded to 24 teams from 16 in 2011. Canada received direct entry as host, and a qualification tournament of 134 teams was held for the remaining 23 places. With the expanded tournament, eight teams made their Women's World Cup debut at the 2015 tournament. All previous Women's World Cup finalists qualified for the tournament, with established nations Germany, Japan, and the USA all among the pre-tournament favourites.
